The August DIG Meeting is Tuesday, August 5, 2008 (9:30 am) at our NEW meeting location for the next few months: the Scottsdale Civic Center Library (address and directions below).
Howard Wood invited himself (and after much convincing, he accepted his invitation) to be our featured presenter this month. His topic is Experimenting with Photoshop: A Few Tips, Some of Which May Be Useful.
As usual, bring some of your own prints to share before the meeting (the library opens at 9 am).
Hope to see you there!
Again, the meeting will be held at our NEW location:
Scottsdale Civic Center Library
3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Chuck Williams did an advance dry-run to the library and provides some driving and parking directions:
The Civic Center Library is on Drinkwater Blvd, just south of Indian School Road, between Scottsdale Road and Hayden. Turn south at Drinkwater and take a left into the parking area at the “Library” sign. For those familiar with the area the library is east and across the street from the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. When you enter the parking structure you are on level 2, but going down the ramp to level 1 is recommended because there is a 3 hour parking limit on level 2 but no limit on level 1. Go down the ramp and turn right – the library entrance is at the north end of the parking structure. Walk straight in to the Copper Gallery and Auditorium. If you happen to enter on the main library level, take an immediate left down the stairs, you don’t have to enter the main library.
